عن الدورة

This comprehensive course is designed for nursing students and new nurses preparing for the NCLEX exam and real clinical practice. It focuses on high-yield pharmacology, essential lab values, and dosage calculation skills that nurses must master to ensure patient safety and exam success.

The course explains cardiovascular medications in depth, including beta blockers, calcium channel blockers, ACE inhibitors, ARBs, diuretics, digoxin, dopamine, and the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS). Students will understand mechanisms of action, side effects, nursing considerations, and patient teaching points in a simplified and exam-focused manner.

Learners will also master critical laboratory values such as PT, INR, aPTT, and other commonly tested NCLEX labs. Anticoagulant therapy is covered thoroughly, including heparin and warfarin comparisons, monitoring parameters, and nursing interventions.

Practical nursing skills are emphasized through dosage calculations, IV drip rates, and medication infusion practice problems. In addition, the course includes essential maternity and pediatric topics such as Rh incompatibility, blood transfusion reactions, and pediatric immunization schedules.

By the end of this course, students will confidently interpret lab values, administer medications safely, calculate dosages accurately, and approach NCLEX pharmacology questions with clarity and confidence.
