You will be joining the commercial operations team. Our team defines the commercial strategy of Jumia to drive the growth of the sales volume, margin and conversion rate across the different categories.
We leverage data analysis to decide on the commercial targets, right assortment and pricing, marketing efforts, and sales campaigns. We boost commercial team members work by providing them effective tools and planning to achieve results.
Main Responsibilities:
Commercial Operations Associate - Revenue
Collect contracts from Account Management team and upload them in system
Track services sales opportunities pipe and follow up on completion by account management team
Follow up with business clients that have late payments and share weekly progress update
Follow up with retail suppliers to receive correct invoices and credit notes for retail purchases
Control and cancel the fraud orders from traders and abusers
Required skills:
Proficiency with Excel/Google sheet
Understanding of accounting and corporate finance concepts (invoice, payments, credit notes)
Good communication skills (written and oral) to liaise with external business partners
Strong personal organization skills
Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting
Proven record of ownership and teamwork
1st successful work experience in a finance department is a plus
