We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. The role is a contract position. Viewing, preparing and recording purchase invoices and supplier entitlement.
Perform day to day financial transaction including verifying classifying and recording accounts payable and expenses data.
Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all purchases and payments are accounted and correctly posted.
Completely understanding of issues around expenses and accounts payable processes (VAT, WHT, etc.)
Making and recording the due voucher for (electricity bill, telephones, gas, rent, etc.).
Generating the reports about the payments duties and for vendors.
Required skills, knowledge and experience
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or any related field.
Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
Proficiency in English and MS Office.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
