As the business has been continually growing we are currently looking for a bright dedicated Junior Treasury Specialist to join our Finance Department based in Zamalek Cairo Egypt. You will work under the Treasury Department which is responsible for cash management. You must be a driven individual who is determined to learn and develop your career within treasury. This role is also open to candidates whose background is from other aspects of finance but who are truly passionate about getting into treasury management and are eager to learn in this pathway.
Overall Purpose of the Job: Execute the day-to-day cash management and treasury-related operations and assist relevant reporting packages required for financial reporting and decision support in the bill collection process.
Main Responsibilities: • Responsible for bank account management • Forecast cash requirements and handles liquidity management. Monitors and manages company cash points. Execute the day-to-day cash management operations. • Process fund transfers within the company and between inter-companies, including FX deposit IC loan IHB, etc. • Ensure a proper register of all treasury related transactions • Monitor the cash collection process • Maintain KYC requirements • Proactively monitor treasury processes to identify non-standard activity exceptions or non-compliance to legal statutory and internal treasury policies and escalate to management • Assist in resolving higher-level treasury issues with banks and internal departments implementing efficiency projects and performing other Treasury projects as assigned • Optimize the disbursement cycle
Requirements: • Passionate in Treasury/Cash Management and a keen eye for detail. • Bachelor Degree in Banking Finance Business Economics or equivalent. • Proven understanding of cash management-related knowledge such as cash plan fund channel bank account management etc. • Ideally around 2 years work experience in the banking industry or other related to the treasury or bank functions. • Strong Microsoft skills (Excel PowerPoint etc.) • Confident with strong communication skills who is able to multitask in a demanding and fast-paced environment. • Accurate, proactive able to work independently and demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills. • Proficient in written and spoken both English and Arabic. French would be advantageous but not essential • Experience with TMS (Treasury Management System) will be an advantage • Rigorous High Adaptation capacities Process-oriented Hard-worker High level of commitment to achieving targets within the set deadlines.
