JUNIOR GEOPHYSICIST

As a member of
the Hydrocarbon Exploration Department at Ieoc Production BV you will be
responsible for:
keeping abreast of development in geophysical surveys, processing and
elaboration techniques and new interpretation theories.
supporting the most appropriate acquisition and processing strategy for seismic
data from a technical point of view, including Well site and shallow hazard
identification
collecting and following-up all the available geophysical data and studies both
at regional and prospect scale, following the instructions received, and to
contribute with the geologist and explorationist in the interpretation of the
determined horizons, carrying out the interpretation and mapping of the seismic
data and attributes
assisting his superior in the appraisal of geophysical studies and
interpretations carried out by the operating companies, supervising the
execution of surveys and studies provided by subsidiaries or external
contractors
preparing periodical reports on activities carried out and geophysical
documentation for use at technical meetings.
