Job Description
Confirm shipping bookings declaration, contact and communicate with both freight forwarders and shipping lines to get rates, looking for transit time, free time and other factor.
Follow up loading process day by day.
Handling any problems related to demurrage and delay of empty containers and asking the shipping lines for discount to reduce the penalty amount.(In case of doing delay)
Checking all shipping documents as BL, Invoice, packing lists, CO, EUR 1 and all others documents.
Arranging THC, Ocean freight payments in banks.
Daily shipments tracking to update its ETA and its payment statues.
Handing and follow with both freight forwarder and shipping line, the process of Telex release.
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business administration or any similar degree.
English fluent IS MUST.
Practical experience in a similar position for minimum of 2 year.
Fully aware of export regulations and requirements.
Email correspondence experience IS MUST.
Excellent communication skills & presentation skills.
High level of negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multi tasks at same time.
Good planning, organizing and management skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (excel, word, Outlook).
