Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process vendor invoices for payment.
- Manage and track accounts receivable, including sending invoices and collecting payments.
- Reconcile bank statements for accounts payable and receivable accounts.
- General Ledger and Financial Reporting:
- Assist with daily accounting tasks, such as data entry, account coding, and processing financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist with the preparation and tracking of budgets.
- Participate in the financial forecasting process.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the finance department, such as filing, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars.
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a professional manner.
- Other Duties:
- Perform other financial-related tasks as assigned.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting regulations and procedures.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent English speaking & writing.
