Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable:
    • Process vendor invoices for payment.
    • Manage and track accounts receivable, including sending invoices and collecting payments.
    • Reconcile bank statements for accounts payable and receivable accounts.
  • General Ledger and Financial Reporting:
    • Assist with daily accounting tasks, such as data entry, account coding, and processing financial transactions.
    • Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts.
    • Assist with the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist with the preparation and tracking of budgets.
    • Participate in the financial forecasting process.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative support to the finance department, such as filing, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars.
    • Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a professional manner.
  • Other Duties:
    • Perform other financial-related tasks as assigned.
    • Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting regulations and procedures.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent English speaking & writing.
