Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Ensuring the appropriate controls are operational in order to maintain the quality and integrity of financial information ensuring consistency of process across EMEA
Ensure that financial statements are kept in accordance with US GAAP and all appropriate records are maintained
Performing month end tasks within close period
Responsible for recording controlling and clearing bank entries
Performing analysis of balance sheet accounts to identify accounting discrepancies and provide input on resolutions
Ensure that all internal controls financial policies and procedures established by GIA are being followed
Develop and maintain internal/external audit and SOAR documentation as it relates to the role. Further act as liaison between internal/external auditors and business partners during reviews and audits
Required Skills And Experience
Bachelor degree level education within a finance / accounting discipline. Further study of CIMA / ACCA / ACA would be desirable
Excellent accounting and finance experience (4-5 years) including monthly closing balance sheets month end reporting accruals and reconciliation able to demonstrate a high level of numeracy ideally for a large multi-national organization.
Strong knowledge and experience of SAP CO Module
Experience of Business Warehouse BPC or similar ERP system
Excellent communication skills with strong stakeholder management experience
Ideally experience of working with multiple currencies
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects to meet deadlines
