A Senior Inventory & Cost Control
Accountant is required to join Mido
International Trading Team at Obour Premises :
• Planning Studying and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases inventory custom clearance & labor.
• Analyzing direct and indirect expenses according to plans.
• Analyzing changes in product design raw materials manufacturing methods or services provided to determine effects on cost
• Making estimates of new and proposed product costs.
• Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
• Preparing cost of returned products.
• Validating the cost of goods sold as a part of the monthly closing.
• Following up accounting entries of outgoing of the main raw materials stores, as well as packaging materials store
• Maintaining Cost Accounting System
• Assisting in Month end close of the General Ledger
• Ensuring validity and accuracy of ERP through analysis internal audit and coordination with inventory control production and work order processing.
• Conducting physical inventories and monitors cycle count program
• Implementing monthly and annual inventory work.
• Extracting reports of inventory accounts.
• Matching the inventory balances with the actual warehouse stocks.
• Balance Sheet reconciliation of plant inventory and related provision accounts
• Analyzing of inventory losses and presentation thereof
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor degree of Commerce.
• 3-5 years of experience in the same field.
• Highly analytical and attention to detail skills are required.
• Strong computer skills MS.
• Food and Beverage Background is a must.
• MS Dynamics Axapta is a must
• Obour resident and nearby is a plus
