Shipment Monitoring
Handle distribution of shipments invoices and bills of landing to MBEg Accounting, Clearance Agency, and archive.
Pursue the transportation of the shipments until arrival to VLC (Main Warehouse) and coordinate with warehouse in case there are handling restrictions
Collect documents (approvals, bank forms, invoices) and follow up the custom clearance process
Support in the communication with the clearance agency to issue ports warehouse report required in case of damages
Coordinate with MBEg Procurement department for contract renewals or relevant requirements.
Banking
Handle the completion of Form-4 with MBEg Finance department and the assigned bank
Follow up and handle the inspection forms and customs clearance fees with MBEg Accounting to process for the payments.
Follow up on receiving the customs clearance, handling and transportation invoices and all required documents in coordination with MBEg Accounting department for payments and costing.
Governmental Regulations & approvals
Issue the needed customs release permissions for any corporate shipment related to any business unit, which may require onsite visits to various governmental agencies for instance with Egypt Telecom (for IT equipment), explosives department … etc.)
Responsible for the MAC address reading process
Prepare required forms and MAC addresses list for communication with NTRA.
Traffic Licensing Office
Check the Customs releases on every new shipment with the Central Traffic Office (through onsite visits)
Follow up on MBMIE and MBEg accounts in the General Traffic Management Office for the signing and updating of the format of the traffic letters issued from both companies
Compliance Assurance
Ensure that all compliance requirements are met and properly documented as per DAG, Mercedes-Benz Cars and MBEg policies
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience is required in Logistics Field..
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business Administration or any related field.
Fluency of spoken and written English language
