Job Summary:


This position is responsible for assisting the consumer & business insight manager in providing consumer and business insights and analytics to help drive marketing strategies and growth. The individual will utilize point of sales data, syndicated data, custom research, and other tools to formulate insights that drive business decisions and customer recommendations. S/he will work proactively with the marketing team to deliver effective consumer and business solutions in the area of Informal Eating Out.




Responsibilities:


Acts as single point of contact for consumer and category data, acting as a funnel for communication
Ensures all research is designed and analyzed in such a way that it is easily translated into usable insight
Uses business insights to translate the marketing strategy into fact based customer presentations
Assists in designing and implementing category strategies that identify genuinely shared opportunities for incremental sales across the category
Analyzes business performance to generate useful insights for marketing team to develop new strategies
Maintains awareness and fluency of major and/or relevant research studies and insight resources
Develops and communicates the strategic consumer journey learning that will earn McDonalds the reputation among QSRs of being a bona fide consumer expert among major QSR company
Plans and executes research that supports marketing short-term and strategic goals
Drives segment consumer learning into stronger, more strategic customer plans and results




Minimum Requirements:


· Bachelors degree in Marketing, Economics, Finance, Statistics or any other related field


· Strong analytical skills


· Strong communication and interpersonal skills


· Fluent in English and Arabic (oral and written)


· 2 - 3 Years Experience in consumer research techniques (qualitative and quantitative) is a plus
