DutiesThe incumbent works under the direct supervision of the deputy chief of the local guard force (LGF). He/She exercises direct supervision over guard supervisors mobile patrol unit (MPU) guards guard receptionists and guards assigned under his/her supervision. The incumbent supervises and manages the activities schedules and performs operational tasks such as approving leave administering discipline and monitoring performance of the guard force employees assigned to safeguard United States government property and personnel.
Qualifications and EvaluationsRequirements:EXPERIENCE: Three years of security related experience required: at least one of which should have been in a supervisory capacity.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must have thorough understanding of the general and specific guard orders.
Education Requirements:Completion of Secondary school.
Evaluations:LANGUAGE: Level III (Good working knowledge) speaking/reading/writing of English is required. (this will be tested).
Level IV (Fluent) speaking/reading/writing of Arabic is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have excellent interpersonal skills good supervisory skills and the ability to deal effectively with all members of the United States Mission and Egyptian government security officials.
