DutiesThe incumbent serves as a dispatcher for all aspects of the Embassy Local Guard Force (LGF). Incumbent receives incoming requests from American Mission employees for LGF support and dispatches the appropriate units. The incumbent Controls the movement of the mobile patrols and overseas and maintains real time data and additional patrol operations and their locations at all times. Receives periodic radio checks from LGF posts monitors radio traffic and works in close proximity with the Marine Security Guard (MSG) Post One and all LGF units and posts to ensure a clear and updated line of communication.
Qualifications and EvaluationsRequirements:EXPERIENCE: Two years experience in security and/or protective services is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must have a clear understanding of the specific and general guard orders.
Education Requirements:Completion of Secondary Education is required.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE:
Level III (Good working knowledge) in speaking/writing/reading of English is required. (This will be tested).
Level IV (Fluent) in speaking/writing/reading of Arabic is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to deal effectively with members of the mission community. Must be able to work independently.
Qualifications:All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications.
