Demonstrating good knowledge of different international taxation concepts.
Researching and analyzing the relevant double tax treaties as applicable to ascertain the proper utilization of double tax treaty provisions.
Developing an understanding of worldwide tax minimization, transfer pricing, and accounting for income taxes
Perform a review, from a transfer pricing standpoint, of the statutory financial information to be utilized for transfer pricing reports.
Assist in the preparation of the relevant functional analysis together with the internal statutory teams and conduct local interviews as needed.
Provide guidance related to transfer pricing to key stakeholders.
Review the transfer pricing reports prepared by the external firm and prepare the applicable informative returns.
Participate in the intermediation and communication process between our internal financial statutory teams and the external firm in charge of preparing the transfer pricing documentation.
Qualification / Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in accounting and/or finance from an accredited college/university.
ADIT is a plus.
Minimum 1 – 3 years of experience in international tax and transfer pricing.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
Proactive in searching for solutions.
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Able to liaise cross functionally and be a strong team player.
High level of responsibility and sense of ownership.
Able to manage several tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Excellent time management & organizational skills.
Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
