The purpose of this role is to support the safe handling in accordance to compliance standards of confidential materials by during the multiple exchanges in Egypt. This includes movement and activities related to the primary storage area known as the Confidential Materials Room (CMR).

Main Opportunities And Challenges



·       Supporting all exams operations including exam days events and inventories

·       Implementing improvement actions in the distribution and logistics of handling confidential materials.

·       Working in a challenging environment against tight deadlines and compliance regulated procedures.

·       Occasional work out of office hours

·       Maintaining confidentiality and dealing with sensitive exams related materials.

Main Accountabilities

Service delivery



·       Supports the functions of confidential materials handling and the Confidential Materials Room (CMR) to ensure British Council standards are met in set up and day to day operations.

·       Undertakes sorting and packing of exam materials for designated test venues.

·       Supports Examination Venues to meet British Council / examination board specifications at the examination sites including the distribution of support staff.

·       Supports tasks to reconcile exam materials and papers received are as per plan escalate any discrepancies.

·       Undertakes handling of suitcases storage materials furniture and stationery.

·       Ensures the proper procedures and documentation is adhered to when handing over to courier.

·       Ensures proper script receipt tracking packing and return OR scanning store and shredding.

·       Provides timely escalation of issues enabling the adaptation of work plans where necessary.

·       Supports stamping process in line with Stamping & Verification Policy

Customers/ Relationship and stakeholders



·       Carries out instructions and requests from line manager and other managers efficiently and effectively.

·       Supports with British Council Examinations public events cross-over and out-reach activity.

Risk and compliance



·       Ensures adherence to CMR standards and management.

·       Provides support and reporting for audits.

·       Follows agreed corporate risk management processes and procedures when delivering services (e.g. child protection security policies financial protocols anti-fraud measures) to protect the

interests of the BC and its customers at all times.



·       Maintain awareness within the country team on the importance of maintaining the standards around CMR and distribution of exam related materials provide feedback if behavioural gaps are

observed.

About You

What were looking for is someone with:



·       The right to live and work in the country

·       Language proficiency of B1 written and spoken English

·       1 year working experience in operations /Logistics environment.

·       Ability to understand the compliance regulated procedures

·       Experience in working in a team

·       Working in a challenging environment against tight deadlines.
