The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
Responsibilities
Oversee the accounting department to ensure proper maintenance and development of all processes and systems related to Accounting, Financial, Fiscal, Controlling and Reporting functions
Develop and manage the staff engaged with these functions and activities
Develop, manage and optimize the relationship with external companies engaged with the functions and activity
Know all MAN Accounting, Financing incl. Financial Principles and Guidelines ensuring adherence to them
Oversee the month-end closing including general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations and corporate/overhead cost allocation as well as preparation of month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial statements ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting requested by Top Management
Ensure proper filing of tax returns and adherence to Transfer Pricing Rules
Create and manage preparation of management accounting and project controlling reports
Qualifications
4+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance in a multinational company
Strong controlling experience to ensure compliance in accounting policies and alignment with processes and internal controls
