Job SummaryThe PR Specialist is responsible for managing the flow of information between the organization and the public. This role involves developing communication strategies to maintain a favorable public image, managing media relations, and ensuring all messaging aligns with the company’s objectives and the cultural landscape of the Kingdom.Responsibilities1. Media & Spokesperson ManagementRespond to requests for information from the media; act as a point of contact or designate appropriate internal experts as spokespeople.Write, translate, and distribute press releases and media kits to promote company milestones and products.Prepare or deliver speeches and briefing notes to further public relations objectives.2. Strategic Communication & PerceptionPlan and direct the communication of programs to maintain favorable perceptions of the organization’s accomplishments, agenda, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) responsibilities.Study company objectives and promotional policies to develop PR strategies that influence public opinion and promote services.Research and conduct market or public opinion surveys to determine the potential success of products or campaigns.3. Digital & Content ManagementPost and update content on the company’s website and social media outlets (specifically X, LinkedIn, and Instagram) to ensure a consistent digital brand.Prepare and edit organizational publications, such as employee newsletters, annual reports, or stockholder reports for both internal and external audiences.4. Relationship Building & CoachingEstablish and maintain cooperative relationships with community leaders, consumer groups, and public interest groups.Coach and train company representatives/executives in effective communication techniques for public appearances or employee town halls.Confer with other managers to identify trends or concerns and provide strategic advice on business decisions that impact the company's reputation.5. Event CoordinationArrange public appearances, lectures, exhibits, or contests to increase brand awareness and promote goodwill.Consult with advertising agencies or internal staff to arrange promotional campaigns across all media types.Purchase advertising space or "sponsored content" time as required to promote the company’s agenda.6. Crisis & Social ResponsibilityCoordinate public responses to incidents, conflicts, or environmental management issues.Develop plans and materials to communicate activities beneficial to public safety, the environment, or other social issues (aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 initiatives).
