Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials
- Store items properly to prevent damage or loss
- Maintain accurate inventory records (manual or computerized)
- Issue materials as per authorized requests
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess stock
- Conduct regular stock checks and inventory audits
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of the store area
- Coordinate with purchasing and other departments
- Label, tag, and organize items for easy identification
Qualifications & skills:
- Proven experience as a storekeeper +3 years
- Basic computer skills; experience with inventory software (e.g., ERP, SAP) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of safety and handling procedures.
