Job Purpose:

Ensures that the presales function aligns with the sales process, driving solution alignment and technical excellence. Developing solution architectures, translating client requirements into actionable technical proposals, and ensuring proposal are aligned with organizational capabilities and client needs.

Key Accountabilities:

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all datacenter cooling technologies, including Direct Expansion (DX), Chilled Water, Evaporative Cooling, Immersion Cooling, Liquid Cooling (CDU/CRD), and Airflow Management.
• Design and architect complex datacenter cooling systems from concept through detailed technical specification, ensuring solutions meet thermal, redundancy, and efficiency requirements (PUE and WUE).
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape analysis in the datacenter mechanical space.

Qualifications & Education:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the datacenter or critical infrastructure industry, with at least 3 years in a presales/solutions architect role focused on HVAC/Mechanical systems.
• Proven leadership experience in managing or leading a technical team.
• Strong experience in designing and sizing complete datacenter cooling systems including knowledge of psychometrics, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics as applied to critical facilities.
• Demonstrable track record of successfully winning major datacenter cooling/mechanical projects through superior technical proposal and presentation skills.
• Deep understanding of ASHRAE guidelines, local building codes, energy efficiency standards (PUE), and common datacenter cooling architectures.
