Job Summary

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure with a strong focus on virtualization, backup solutions, identity management, and cloud services.

This role ensures high availability, security, and business continuity of critical systems across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering or Infrastructure roles
• Hands-on experience in enterprise IT environments

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain virtualized environments using VMware vSphere / ESXi
• Manage and optimize virtual machines, clusters, High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) configurations
• Implement and administer backup and disaster recovery solutions using Veeam Backup & Replication
• Monitor backups, perform troubleshooting, and conduct recovery testing
• Administer Active Directory (AD DS) including users, groups, OUs, GPOs, and DNS
• Manage Hybrid Active Directory environments and Azure AD integration
• Administer Microsoft 365 / Office 365 (users, licenses, Exchange Online, MFA, and security policies)
• Configure and manage ManageEngine solutions (ServiceDesk Plus, ADManager Plus, OpManager, Endpoint Central)
• Monitor system performance and availability using enterprise monitoring tools
• Apply system security best practices, patch management, and system hardening
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and system issues
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers
