Opportunity Overview

Our client is a fast-growing ecommerce business operating across DTC and B2B channels. They are known for delivering a high-quality customer experience and are focused on building scalable, best-in-class operations as they grow.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of third-party logistics performance end-to-end, improving fulfilment reliability, inventory accuracy, and cost efficiency across warehousing and carrier operations.


Role Description

We’re looking for a 3PL Coordinator to join our client’s team. If you’re highly detail-oriented, proactive, and operationally minded, with a strong grip on ecommerce fulfilment and logistics performance, this could be the opportunity for you.

You’ll play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day 3PL operations while also owning reporting, invoice auditing, stock integrity, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers meaningful responsibility and growth within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Daily 3PL Operations Management – Monitor daily 3PL software activity to ensure accurate order flow, inventory visibility, and rapid issue resolution.
  • DTC & B2B Fulfilment Ownership – Help oversee end-to-end fulfilment across DTC and B2B, including B2B order processing and coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Inventory Accuracy & Stock Control – Conduct regular stock checks and monthly stock takes, proactively identifying discrepancies and driving corrective actions.
  • Packaging & Inserts Management – Manage custom packaging and leaflet inventory, ensuring sufficient stock levels and timely replenishment.
  • Invoice Auditing & Cost Control – Audit monthly 3PL invoices, validate charges, and identify discrepancies and optimisation opportunities.
  • Reporting & KPI Ownership – Generate and own logistics reporting across carrier performance, delivery metrics, and monthly operational KPIs.
  • Cost & Service Level Tracking – Track and report monthly metrics tied to fulfilment cost drivers, delivery performance, inventory health, and service levels.
  • Continuous Improvement – Identify and implement improvements to reduce costs, improve delivery performance, and enhance customer experience.
  • Risk Management & Resilience Support – Proactively manage risks such as stock shortages, fulfilment delays, and carrier issues to protect service levels.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 3PL & Fulfilment Experience – Proven experience working with global 3PL providers, fulfilment software, and ecommerce logistics operations.
  • Ecommerce Logistics Understanding – Strong understanding of fulfilment cost drivers, delivery performance, and logistics KPIs.
  • Analytical & Detail-Oriented – Strong analytical skills across invoice auditing, reporting, and stock reconciliation, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Scale-Up Mindset – Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
  • Ownership & Problem Solving – Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently manage priorities and resolve issues.
  • Communication Skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, confident working across internal teams and external partners.
  • Continuous Improvement Approach – Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for building scalable operations.


Bonus Qualifications

  • 3PL Tools Experience – Hands-on experience with platforms such as ShipBob, ShipHero, Byrd (or similar 3PL systems).
  • RFPs & Logistics Transitions – Experience running fulfilment/carrier RFPs and executing warehouse and/or carrier transitions.
  • Cost Ownership – Prior ownership of fulfilment cost performance and optimisation in a previous role.
