The Role (what you’ll do)
You will own the Cairo school sales motion end-to-end—from cold outreach (phone/email/LinkedIn) and school visits to demos, proposals, and closing.
Responsibilities
- Outbound sales (inside + field): combine cold calling, email/LinkedIn outreach, with in-person school visits to reach decision makers.
- Field sales / School visits: visit international & private schools, meet decision makers (owners, principals, admissions heads, academic leaders, IT).
- Pipeline building: identify target schools, approach them proactively, and build relationships that convert into meetings and demos.
- Qualification: understand pains, stakeholders, budgets, and timelines (consultative selling).
- Product demos & solution pitching: deliver convincing demos (online or in-person) and tailor the message to each school.
- Proposal & closing: prepare offers, handle objections, negotiate, and drive signature (with support from leadership).
- Relationship management: keep schools engaged through the decision journey and set up a smooth handover after closing.
- CRM discipline: track leads, calls, meetings, notes, and next steps in a structured way.
- Market intelligence: bring insights from the field and inside outreach—competitors, objections, pricing expectations, and “what schools actually want.”
Who we’re looking for (Must-haves)
- Based in Cairo and comfortable with a hybrid routine: daily outreach via phone + regular school visits.
- 3–6+ years in B2B sales/business development (education sector strongly preferred).
- Experience selling to private and/or international schools OR strong proof you can access decision makers.
- Confidence in cold calling and outbound outreach (you can open conversations and book meetings).
- Arabic + strong English communication.
- Strong relationship-building and follow-up discipline.
- Comfortable with rejection and able to keep momentum.
- Organized: you plan your week, document properly, and follow up relentlessly.
Big advantages (Nice-to-haves)
- Prior experience selling EdTech (LMS / SIS / Admissions / ERP / school software).
- Existing network with school owners, principals, or school groups in Cairo.
- Experience navigating multi-stakeholder decisions (owners + principals + IT Admins).
- CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
- Valid driver’s license/ability to move efficiently across Cairo.
