Job Description

Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability and accuracy.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing timely and accurate financial data.
Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international accounting standards and regulations.
Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors during audits and financial reviews.
Maintain and update fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounting records and recommend process improvements.
Participate in the implementation and enhancement of accounting systems and internal controls.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of proven experience in a general accounting role, preferably within the transportation or logistics sector.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards in handling confidential information.
Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
