The Medical Copy Editor ensures that all medical and healthcare content is accurate, clear, compliant, and consistent with scientific and regulatory standards. The role focuses on editing and reviewing medical copy to maintain high quality across all agency deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

· Edit and proofread medical and scientific content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

· Accurately translate, localize, and transcribe content between English and Arabic, ensuring medical and cultural relevance.

· Ensure all content complies with medical, regulatory, and ethical guidelines.

· Verify medical claims, references, and data against approved sources.

· Maintain consistency in medical terminology, tone, and style.

· Collaborate with Medical Advisors, writers, and design teams.

· Review promotional and non-promotional materials (presentations, digital content, print materials).

· Identify and correct grammatical, typographical, and factual errors.

· Support version control and documentation of medical approvals.

Qualifications & Experience

· Life sciences, pharmacy, or medical-related degree.

· 1–4 years of experience in medical copy editing, medical writing, or healthcare content.

· Strong understanding of medical terminology and compliance standards.

· Excellent command of written English and Arabic.
