We are seeking a passionate, proactive, and experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Alexandria. The ideal candidate will play a key role in structuring, developing, and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure across the head office and factory sites. The role involves leading the implementation and continuous improvement of core IT systems, supporting digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient technology operations. This position requires a hands-on IT professional who combines strong technical expertise with a structured mindset, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to supporting business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the IT infrastructure for the head office and factories, ensuring uptime, security, and performance.
• Administer end-user devices (laptops, desktops, printers), including setup, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Design, install, and support network infrastructure, including structured cabling (Cat6/Cat6A), racks, patch panels, switches, routers, and access points.
• Configure and manage LAN/WAN, VLANs, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and basic firewall rules.
• Support and maintain IP telephony systems (VoIP phones, PBX, call routing).
• Oversee CCTV and surveillance infrastructure, including cameras, NVRs, PoE switches, storage, and monitoring access.
• Support IoT and industrial-connected devices where applicable (networked machines, controllers, sensors).
• Provide technical support to employees (Level 1 & 2), troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and access issues.
• Assist in IT procurement, vendor coordination, and service provider management.
• Maintain documentation for network diagrams, asset inventories, configurations, and SOPs.
• Support cybersecurity best practices: user access control, endpoint protection, backups, and basic incident response.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• A Master’s degree (MSc or MBA) is considered a strong advantage.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure or systems support (industrial or multi-site environments preferred).

• Strong practical knowledge of:
• ---- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching)
• ---- Managed switches (TP-Link Omada, or similar)
• ---- Wireless networks (enterprise-grade Wi-Fi planning and deployment)
• ---- Windows environments (Windows 11, Windows Server basics, Active Directory)
• ---- Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint user support)
• ---- CCTV systems and PoE infrastructure
• ---- IP Phones / VoIP systems
• ---- Experience with structured cabling standards and data center / server room setups is a strong advantage.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize issues, and communicate clearly with non-technical users.
• Very good command of the English language.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with proven ability to restructure and develop accounting teams.
• Excellent command of Microsoft 365 applications and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in working with AI tools is mandatory, with the ability to leverage automation for analysis
