Job Description

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for construction projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with project manager, engineers, and site teams to gather input and update project plans regularly.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and proactively recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports, schedule updates, and forecasts to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Analyze project data to optimize resource allocation and improve project efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender schedules and support procurement planning.
  • Ensure all planning activities comply with company quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate design, procurement, and construction schedules.
  • Utilize project management software (Primavera P6) and tools to track milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Support the testing and commissioning phases by ensuring all scheduling requirements are met.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • 1-3 years of experience in construction project planning or scheduling.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project planning software Primavera P6 is a must.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to project challenges.
