Responsibilities:

A- Medical Affairs

1. Full accountability to Outsourced MA Projects

i. Medical Review

ii. Medical Information Requests

iii. Medical Content Development

2. Reactive execution to requested projects;

i. Standalone Meetings

ii. Conferences & Symposia

iii. Advisory Board

iv. Medical Slides Formulation

v. Medical Training

vi. Preceptorships

vii. CMEs

viii. Promotional materials review

ix. Patient Support Programs

3. Proactive Presentation to customized projects as per the sponsor’s needs;

i. CMEs.

ii. Advisory Boards.

4. KOLs management (plan should be created & identified per TA to facilitate process creation).

5. Partner with health authorities for future educational activities.

B- Medico-Marketing Activities (for Medico-Marketing team only)

1. Content creation for promotional and non-promotional materials

2. Regulatory Submissions to EDA

C- Training Academy (Support)

1. Formulating & updating modules for the Training academy related to MA training.

Key Accountabilities

A- Liaising with scientific thought leaders & medical affairs team to develop CME programs for HCPs sponsored by pharmaceuticals and societies.

B- Develop advisory boards’ discussion guide and flow to collect insights about clinical practice and global guidelines adoption.

C- Build medical surveys & questionnaires.

D- Search clinical trials, articles & other evidence-based medicine to support commercial & medical claims.

E- Liaise with clients the developed programs and projects and link them to their real needs while keeping open professional communication with clients for future projects.

F- Understand the pharmaceutical market in the Middle East region to address the right projects to the right clients.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• MD, pharmacist, dentist, and other life sciences with solid medical/technical background and proven competencies.
• 1-2 years of experience in the medical affairs field.
• Understanding of the pharmaceutical market in Egypt & preferably MENA region.
• Business knowledge, & preferably with clinical research background.
• Proven ability to develop and foster peer-to-peer, credible relationships with Medical Experts. Thorough knowledge of clinical medicine, disease management, and medical research in different therapeutic areas.
• Ability to understand and convey emergent scientific information
• Proven ability to use IT tools and interface effectively with a variety of technical platforms.
• Strong personal integrity and customer focus.
