Opportunity Overview

Our client is an established ecommerce business operating across DTC and B2B channels. They need someone who can run tight warehouse operations with accuracy, speed, and KPI discipline across inbound, storage, picking/packing, and dispatch.

Role Description

We’re looking for a 3PL Coordinator (Warehouse & Fulfilment Operations) to take day-to-day ownership of warehouse performance with a 3PL partner. You will be the person who keeps the warehouse honest: inventory accuracy, WMS process compliance, SLA adherence, and continuous improvement. This is an execution-heavy role and is not suitable for candidates without real warehouse ops exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations Control (3PL) – Own daily execution with the 3PL warehouse: inbound scheduling, putaway, picking, packing, dispatch, and exceptions handling.
• WMS & Data Integrity – Monitor WMS activity to ensure correct receiving, bin/location control, stock status, and order flow. Investigate and resolve WMS discrepancies fast.
• Inventory Accuracy (Non-Negotiable) – Run cycle counts and monthly stock takes. Reconcile variances and drive corrective and preventive actions with the warehouse.
• Inbound Receiving & Putaway Discipline – Ensure receiving is accurate (qty/SKU), putaway is completed on time, and stock is available to promise.
• Pick/Pack Quality & SLA Management – Track pick accuracy, pack compliance, cut-off times, and carrier handover SLAs. Reduce mis-picks, damages, and late dispatch.
• Returns & Exceptions – Manage returns processing, damages, missing items, and escalations. Ensure root cause is identified and fixed.
• Packaging Materials Control – Maintain inventory of packaging, inserts, and consumables. Prevent stockouts and wastage.
• Invoice Auditing & Warehouse Charges – Audit monthly 3PL invoices and validate charges vs. activity. Challenge errors.
• Warehouse KPI Reporting – Produce weekly/monthly reporting: inventory accuracy, dispatch SLA, pick accuracy, shrinkage, backlog, and cost drivers.
• Process Improvement – Implement improvements across warehouse SOP adherence, WMS workflows, and carrier performance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Warehouse Operations Experience (Must-Have) – Proven hands-on experience managing or coordinating warehouse fulfilment operations (inbound, putaway, pick/pack, dispatch) within a 3PL or in-house warehouse.
• WMS Proficiency – Strong operational experience working with a WMS. You must understand how warehouse transactions impact inventory accuracy.
• Inventory Control – Demonstrable experience running cycle counts / stock takes and reconciling variances with clear root-cause analysis.
• Warehouse KPI Discipline – Comfortable owning warehouse performance metrics (SLA, pick accuracy, inventory accuracy, backlog) and driving actions with a warehouse team.
• Detail-Oriented & Analytical – Strong attention to detail and confidence working with data, reports, and reconciliations.
• Ownership & Communication – Strong ownership mindset, able to hold a 3PL accountable and communicate fluently and clearly in English.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience reducing shrinkage and improving warehouse SOPs.
• Experience running 3PL/carrier transitions or warehouse moves.
• Experience auditing 3PL invoices and warehouse charges.
