📍 Hybrid (Nasr City – 3 days onsite) | 💰 EGP 50K–80K | 🕓 Immediate Start
Company: Career 180
About Career 180
Career 180 is a comprehensive and interactive Career Knowledge Network, centralizing career services into one integrated platform.
We are building a scalable Learning Management System (LMS) powering interactive learning experiences for thousands of learners — and we’re looking for a senior engineer to architect and implement its core
foundation.
This Role Is Hiring Through a Hiring Quest
We don’t accept CVs for this position.
Candidates apply through a structured, skills-based Hiring Quest.
Architecture depth, scalability thinking, product judgment, and engineering maturity speak louder than titles or keywords.
Job Requirements
We’re looking for a senior full-stack Laravel engineer (6+ years experience) capable of architecting scalable, production-ready systems.
Must Have:
• 5+ years professional Laravel experience
• Strong OOP, REST/JSON, queues, caching, transactions & validation
• Deep understanding of concurrency, data integrity & race condition prevention
• Livewire v3 & Alpine.js patterns
• Automated testing (Pest required)
• Strong database design (indexes, constraints, performance awareness)
• Clean architectural thinking (Actions, Events, Policies)
Bonus:
Filament v3, event-driven systems, high-scale architecture experience.
What Is the Hiring Quest?
The Hiring Quest is a practical, challenge-based hiring process.
You receive a detailed system specification and build a production-grade mini-LMS core.
Your submission is reviewed by senior technical reviewers.
Top candidates attend a deep technical review session.
One or 2 candidates will be hired.
Progression depends entirely on what you design, build, and explain — not on a CV.
Your Quest
Design and implement the core foundation of a scalable Mini-LMS with clean architecture, strong data integrity, event-driven workflows, and production-ready decisions — demonstrating senior-level systems thinking beyond feature delivery.
