Role Purpose:

• To ensure the units support the continuous improvement process to deliver sustainable and increased productivity.
• To ensure that all IE activities are maintained to recognised levels of best practice to deliver world class performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and support Kaizen and continuous improvement activities on the shop floor.
• Identify waste and improve processes using Lean and IE tools.
• Analyse key performance data (productivity, efficiency, OTIF, WIP) to support decisions.
• Improve workflows, layouts, and manpower utilization.
• Support problem solving and root cause analysis to close performance gaps.
• Ensure improvements follow safety standards and standard work.
• Lead and support Kaizen initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and cost.
• Identify waste and improvement opportunities using Lean tools (VSM, 5S/6S, Standard Work, SMED, etc.).
• Facilitate continuous improvement workshops and cross-functional improvement projects.
• Analyse workflows and layouts to optimize manpower utilization, space, and material flow.
• Analyse operational KPIs including productivity, OTIF, efficiency, and WIP.
• Prepare performance reports and dashboards for management review.
• Support root cause analysis and development of corrective and preventive actions.
• Use data and analysis to support decision-making and improvement actions.
• Engage operators and supervisors in improvement activities and Kaizen events.
• Provide CI coaching and guidance to shopfloor teams.
• Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture within all improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Professional graduate Bsc in the area of industrial engineering/management or similar areas.
• Superior Communication abilities.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• From 0 to 2-year experience in a similar area.
• PC skills, especially in MS and spreadsheet applications.
• Knowledge or qualification in Lean Management Techniques.
