Role Description
The Technical Office Engineer will be responsible for managing and preparing technical drawings, reviewing project designs, and creating detailed shop drawings. This full-time on-site role, based in Al Jizah, Egypt, involves preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), coordinating with the project team, and ensuring project requirements are met efficiently. Responsibilities also include quantity surveying duties, technical documentation, and assisting in engineering calculations and analysis.
Qualifications
Proficiency in creating and reviewing Shop Drawings Strong understanding of BOQ preparation and cost estimation Educational background in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering Proficiency in Quantity Surveying techniques and methodologies Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Proficiency in relevant computer-aided design (CAD) and other engineering software Experience in construction or infrastructure projects is a plus Ability to meet deadlines and deliver accurate technical documentation
