We Are Hiring: Technical Office Mechanical Engineer Location: Heliopolis Job Type: Full-Time - On-Site Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and motivated Technical Office Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering and Project Execution Team. The selected candidate will be responsible for the technical office activities related to mechanical systems, including reviewing designs, preparing shop drawings, quantity surveying, and coordinating with site teams to ensure full compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and international standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical office experience, solid engineering knowledge, and the ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project execution. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and review shop drawings for HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems. • Prepare quantity take-offs and material requests for mechanical works. • Coordinate technical submissions and approvals with consultants and clients. • Support site teams with technical clarifications and updated drawings. • Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Coordinate with Electrical, Architectural, and Structural teams to resolve clashes and design issues. • Prepare as-built drawings and final project documentation. • Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking mechanical work progress. • Identify technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions. Job Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. • 4–5 years of proven experience in Technical Office MEP works, preferably in infrastructure projects. • Strong experience in external utility networks and infrastructure systems. • Solid knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems. • Familiarity with relevant mechanical codes and standards. • Proficiency in Auto CAD, engineering software, and Microsoft Office. • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
