Job Description
Job Purpose:
Plan, design, and develop new methods and test new systems to achieve higher production rates and efficiency.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and update products and component costs, create estimated costs for new tenders, follow up and solve costing problems.
Follow up the factory layout situation and create proposals for new projects.
Prepare and follow up the technology improvement plan, technology training plan, and cost-saving plans.
Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
Manage cost and time constraints on SAP and conduct cost-saving studies to minimize the cost of products.
Perform process simulations and risk assessments
Provide process documentation and operating instructions
Oversee implementation of new processes and procedures
Examine existing processes and suggest improvements
Investigate any problems that arise with processes, procedures, and operations
Create monthly and weekly reports to increase accuracy and decrease errors and production issues.
Analyze monthly production orders cost variance reports.
Update the manufacturing database to update the costing of the product according to the market raw material prices.
Share the layout information and calculate the production needs to achieve the targeted productivity in the new layout.
Study the technology system input, output, bottleneck nodes, and the ways to solve them to achieve high performance and efficiency
Assist CPD and CSD to produce product and spare parts catalogs
Fulfill additional tasks as per job needs and as assigned by own supervisor
