Job Description

- Prepare engineering plans and detailed drawings.
- Prepare material and quantity inventory tables.
- Prepare 2D and 3D architectural and interior designs according to the project type and client requirements.
- Supervise project progress during the design phases, as well as during implementation if necessary.
- Meet and communicate with clients before and during project phases.
- Prepare design pricing and coordinate with the project manager for approval and follow-up.
- Develop a project timeline and ensure adherence to it.
- Ensure design creativity and avoid duplication and waste of ideas.
- Supervise the draftsman's work and ensure the accuracy of the final product.
- Approve feasible design ideas with full awareness of the implementation method and availability of the necessary materials.
- Visit sites and ensure accurate measurements before beginning design work.

Job Requirements

• Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)
• Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs
• Excellent portfolio of previous works
• Creative talent, imagination and eye for design
• Communication and presentation skills
• Project management skills
• BS degree in Interior Design or similar
