Job Description

Salesman – Freight Forwarding (Riyadh)

The Salesman position in Riyadh offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about sales and logistics solutions. This role plays a critical part in driving the company’s revenue through acquiring new clients and offering tailored cargo service solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and a thorough understanding of the Middle East cargo market.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Actively reach out to prospective customers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Present freight and cargo service solutions to clients and negotiate contract terms.
  • Proactively lead customer acquisition efforts and achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company goals.
  • Collect payments (cash & cheque) from clients and coordinate with the finance department.
  • Conduct sales activities in wholesale markets to maximize reach.
  • Follow up on shipment arrival status and communicate updates to customers promptly.
  • Collaborate with sales teams in China to ensure consistent and smooth customer service.
  • Conduct market research to monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide excellent after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare detailed sales performance reports and share insights with management.
  • Represent the company at logistics exhibitions and industry events.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability by acquiring new clients and building strong partnerships.

Preferred Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Previous experience in sales or freight forwarding is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of the Middle East cargo and logistics market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM software.
  • Self-driven and target-oriented with a proactive attitude.
