About the Role

The right candidate will bring hands-on expertise in policy impact evaluation, through a strong background in public policy, advanced expertise in econometrics or a similar field, leadership skills, and stakeholder engagement capabilities to deliver actionable results that inform policy and program improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the strategic vision for impact evaluation, ensuring alignment with public policy objectives
• Lead the coordination between Evaluation Delivery and Evaluation Insights units to produce integrated, high-impact results
• Develop frameworks and methodologies addressing policy challenges and opportunities
• Represent and communicate findings and outputs to internal teams and externally with respect to government entities
• Design and implement econometric evaluations to assess the effectiveness of public policies and social interventions
• Develop and oversee analysis plans, including scoping studies, survey instrument design, data collection, and statistical analysis
• Translate findings into actionable insights through reports, briefing notes, and presentations tailored to key stakeholders

Qualifications

• Masters in Econometrics, Economics, Development Economics or other appropriate social and data science disciplines, Ph.D. is preferable

Required Skills

• 11+ years of experience in impact evaluation, public policy or Econometrics related to social field
• Experience leading and managing large evaluation and impact evaluation projects, including monitoring and evaluation data management and analysis experience
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a senior leadership role, managing teams and overseeing large-scale evaluation projects
• Arabic speaker preferred
• Knowledge of UAE Social Ecosystem is preferred
