Job Summary
As a key member of our financial team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our company's expenses database and constructing data accumulation systems. Your expertise will be utilized to determine fixed costs, plan and record variable costs, review cost accuracy, prepare budgeting reports, analyze profit margins, forecast costs, assist with month-end and year-end closing, and identify cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and maintain accurate cost information for the company
- Construct and implement effective data accumulation systems
- Determine fixed costs, including salaries, rent, and insurance
- Plan and record variable costs, such as raw materials and operational costs
- Review and ensure the accuracy of cost records
- Prepare comprehensive budgeting reports
- Analyze profit margins and provide insights for business growth
- Forecast future costs and develop strategies for cost reduction
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements for month-end and year-end closing
Requirements
- Proven experience in cost accounting or a related field
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with accounting software and MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field
