Job Purpose

The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and organize materials, equipment, and supplies within the golf resort’s warehouse, maintenance areas, and service yards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport goods and equipment.
• Load and unload delivery trucks and service vehicles.
• Move golf course maintenance equipment, turf supplies, and landscape materials as required.
• Ensure accurate placement and organization of items in designated storage areas.
• Inspect forklifts before and after use, reporting any faults or maintenance needs.
• Follow all safety regulations and resort operational policies.
• Assist warehouse and grounds staff with general material handling when needed.

Skills

• Previous experience as a Forklift Operator.
• Valid forklift operating license/certification.
• Good knowledge of safety practices in material handling.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Physical stamina to handle lifting and moving tasks.
