1. Basic Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating soft skills training programs that develop employee capabilities in communication, teamwork, leadership, time management, customer service, and other behavioral competencies. The role ensures training interventions are aligned with business needs and performance improvement goals.
2. RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES
2.1 Main Tasks:
Training Needs Analysis & Planning
- Identify soft skills gaps in collaboration with line managers and HRBPs.
- Develop annual training calendars and customized learning paths based on departmental needs.
- Align learning solutions with competency frameworks and performance management data.
Program Design & Development
- Design structured training modules using modern instructional design methodologies (ADDIE).
- Develop participant materials, facilitator guides, exercises, case studies, and assessments.
- Integrate multimedia, role-play, and experiential activities to enhance learning outcomes.
Training Delivery
- Facilitate soft skills sessions for different employee levels (junior to managerial).
- Adjust training methods and language to suit audience backgrounds and learning styles.
- Create a safe and engaging learning environment that encourages participation.
Evaluation & Impact Assessment
- Use Kirkpatrick’s levels to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
- Collect feedback through post-session evaluations, quizzes, and follow-up observations.
- Provide periodic reports on training outcomes and recommend improvements.
Learning Management & Administration
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, feedback, and training completions.
- Support L&D reporting for HR dashboards.
- Coordinate logistics (venues, equipment, materials) and manage training tools and platforms.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Liaise with department heads to understand training needs and measure behavior change.
- Support internal initiatives such as onboarding, leadership development, and engagement campaigns.
3. KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):
- Training Effectiveness Score: Post-training satisfaction and evaluation results
- Learning Impact: % of participants demonstrating behavior change (observed by line managers)
- Training Delivery Rate: Number of sessions delivered per month/quarter
- Program Completion Rate: % of participants completing full training paths
- Employee Engagement in L&D: Attendance and participation rates
- Return on Learning (ROL) Indicators: Performance improvement post-training
4. DYNAMICS / LIAISE
4.1 Within the Organization:
- OD Manager / HR Team: Align on development strategies and priorities
- Department Managers: Gather feedback and identify learning needs
- Employees: Support growth through coaching and training interventions
4.2 With External Parties:
- Training Vendors / Consultants: Source and customize third-party programs when needed
5. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Education, Psychology, or Business Administration
- Experience: 3–5 years in soft skills training, facilitation, or L&D roles
- Certifications: TOT (Training of Trainers), Instructional Design, or coaching certifications preferred
- Industry Background: Retail, corporate, or consulting sectors
- Tools Experience: MS Office, LMS platforms, interactive tools
6. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles
- Strong facilitation and public speaking skills
- Training content development and instructional design expertise
- Emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal communication
- Creativity in delivering engaging and practical workshops
- Ability to manage multiple learning projects concurrently
7. OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:
- Working Conditions: Office and classroom-based; may include facilitation at stores, branches, or external venues
- Physical Efforts: May require traveling inside Egypt to deliver training or attend learning events
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to energize and influence different audiences
- Continuous learner and proactive in adopting new L&D practices
- Fluency in English and Arabic (preferred)
