Job summary

Aramco is seeking a Field Support Engineer to join its Regional Power Operation Department within its Power Systems Organization. The Department will deliver electrical energy to customers in the safest, most reliable and economical manner through a competent workforce committed to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise in support of field Operations and Maintenance (O&M) for all types of substation equipment serving mega-industrial facilities.
• Develop maintenance instructions and best practices for substation equipment testing and maintenance.
• Review and update equipment standards and specification, Conduct equipment reliability studies, Lead equipment incident investigation teams.
• Represent Saudi Aramco to investigate equipment failure, participate in qualification of HV equipment vendors, and participate in High Voltage (HV) equipment Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) programs.

Qualifications

• As the successful candidate you must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. A Master Degree in Engineering is desirable.
• You should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in in substation equipment design and application.
