Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electromechanical Project Engineer to manage projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both mechanical and electrical engineering, with hands-on experience in construction projects. This role requires a solid understanding of piping, steel, and electrical systems, along with strong organizational and communication skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Execution and Coordination:
  • Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, to ensure project tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Manage project resources and procurement of materials.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and propose solutions.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates to the project lead and stakeholders.
• Technical Oversight:
  • Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review and verify technical drawings, schematics, and project specifications.
  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges that arise during design, construction, and commissioning.
• Specific Construction Knowledge:
  • Apply practical knowledge of piping construction, including material specifications, installation methods, and quality control.
  • Oversee the fabrication and installation of steel structures, ensuring adherence to design and safety standards.
  • Manage electrical systems, including power distribution, control panel wiring, and instrumentation.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction quality and progress.

Job Requirements

           Qualifications:

•   Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a project-focused role.
• Demonstrated experience with projects involving piping, steel, and electrical construction.
  Skills:
• Project Management: Foundational knowledge of project management principles and experience with relevant software (e.g., MS Project).
• Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical engineering concepts.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze problems and develop effective, practical solutions.
• Communication: Clear and effective communication skills for interacting with team members, contractors, and clients.
• Software Proficiency: Competency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) is required.
