Role and Responsibilities

  • This role involves providing technical support for production integration services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Apigee.
  • Performing daily health checks and proactively identifying and addressing issues.
  • Being on call to address any critical issues or emergencies that occur outside regular business hours.
  • Troubleshooting complex integration issues, analyzing logs, and diagnosing root causes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders.
  • Adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) and operational objectives.
  • Participating in incident management processes, including incident triage, resolution, and post-incident analysis.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree may be preferred but not always required.
  • +7 years of Relevant Experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Apigee: Proficiency in API management platforms, specifically Google Apigee, including experience in developing, managing, and securing APIs.
  • Strong understanding of integration concepts, protocols, and standards (e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, MQTT).
  • Experience with cloud integration services (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure) and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure components and systems, including operating systems (Linux, Windows), networking, and security.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools for infrastructure and application performance management.
  • Oracle Service Bus (OSB) knowledge is a plus

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-7 years of experience in IT with a focus on integration technologies and production support.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex integration issues.
  • Previous experience with on-call rotations and providing 24/7 support for mission-critical systems and applications.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and IT service management processes, particularly incident, problem, and change management.

Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as Google Apigee Certification, or equivalent certifications from other vendors

Preferred Skills

Integration Technologies:
