Job Description
- Oversee and manage all importation and logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of medical supplies.
- Develop, implement, and optimize logistics strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Coordinate with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth import processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant import/export regulations, customs requirements, and documentation standards.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the importation and logistics team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Analyze logistics performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Resolve any issues or delays in the supply chain, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
- Negotiate contracts and rates with logistics service providers to secure favorable terms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and customer satisfaction.

- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
