Role Description

We are looking for a Spring Boot Developer to join our engineering team in a full-time remote role. You will design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. The role involves building scalable microservices, developing RESTful APIs, writing clean and efficient code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration. You will also participate in debugging, troubleshooting, code reviews, and performance optimization to deliver secure and high-performing applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend applications using Spring Boot
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices
• Collaborate with front-end, QA, and ML teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Debug and resolve technical issues across environments
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance optimization

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework
• Experience with backend web development and microservice architecture
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and OOP concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Exposure to integrating AI/ML systems into backend services
• Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced development environment
