Job Description

• Develop and prepare detailed structural designs and drawings for various building and infrastructure projects.
• Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety, stability, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs.
• Review and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress.
• Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and project proposals as required.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure the quality and accuracy of materials and construction methods.
• Identify and resolve design challenges or discrepancies during the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all structural designs adhere to local, national, and international building codes and regulations.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and drafters.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in structural design engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, or similar.
• Solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
• Experience with both reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations.
• Willingness to work onsite as required by project demands.
