Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruitment Manager to lead the talent acquisition function for our automotive division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruiting for technical, engineering, manufacturing, and corporate roles within the automotive sector. You will be responsible for developing recruitment strategies, managing the recruitment team, and ensuring we attract and retain top talent to support our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract skilled candidates across all levels of the organization, with a focus on automotive-specific roles.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, ensuring KPIs and hiring goals are met.
- Partner with department heads (engineering, production, sales, etc.) to forecast hiring needs and create tailored recruitment plans.
- Utilize industry knowledge to identify new sourcing channels, recruitment technologies, and best practices.
- Build and maintain a strong employer brand to position the company as an employer of choice in the automotive sector.
- Track, analyze, and report on recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with labor laws, diversity & inclusion standards, and internal policies.
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, job boards, and other third-party vendors.
- Support strategic workforce planning and succession planning initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5–7 years of recruitment experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or lead role.
- Proven experience recruiting in the automotive industry (OEM, Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers, or dealerships).
- Strong knowledge of technical roles such as mechanical engineers, production managers, quality control, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in HR or talent acquisition (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, AIRS).
- Experience with international or high-volume recruitment.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma environments is a plus
