Job Purpose

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for minimizing financial losses and safeguarding company assets through structured data analysis, policy compliance, and investigative support. This role identifies operational gaps, investigates violations, and implements sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence. It partners closely with Quality, Operations, and HR to improve compliance and ensure a secure operational environment that aligns with Floward’s standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Operational Risk Identification
  • Analyze refund and transaction data to identify root causes of financial loss and customer dissatisfaction.
  • Spot recurring trends and anomalies to proactively flag risk areas.
  • Recommend and support the implementation of improvements that reduce loss incidents.
  • Violation Investigation & Documentation
  • Investigate violations such as refund fraud, mishandled cancellations, and non-compliance with SOPs.
  • Coordinate with Line Managers and HR to confirm findings and ensure due process.
  • Maintain accurate logs of incidents, including case details and action outcomes.
  • Policy Compliance & Process Support
  • Enforce policy guidelines and implement mitigation strategies as directed.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure consistent SOP adherence and security practices.
  • Support site teams in executing corrective actions and preventive protocols.
  • Reporting & Communication
  • Prepare weekly and monthly dashboards highlighting incident trends and loss insights.
  • Design simple yet impactful visuals and updates to communicate departmental achievements.
  • Participate in cross-functional reviews with HR, Quality, and Operations to align on actions and outcomes.

Skills And Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in loss prevention, compliance, fraud detection, or operations.
  • Familiarity with data interpretation, policy enforcement, and incident tracking.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Tableau or Metabase is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of refund management systems, SOP audits, and risk logs.

Soft Skills

  • High attention to detail with the ability to analyze large volumes of data.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive matters.
  • Flexibility to travel between locations as needed.
