As an Electrical Engineer – Team Leader (Tenants Design), you will be responsible for managing and reviewing all electrical design submissions and executions related to tenant fit-outs across retail and mall projects. Your leadership will ensure full alignment with technical guidelines, lease agreements, authority requirements, and fast-track delivery standards.

Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:

Tenant Electrical Design Coordination:

• Lead the technical review of tenant electrical design submissions, including LV systems, small power, lighting, and ELV.
• Validate compliance with base build provisions, available power capacity, and defined MEP interface points.
• Review and comment on load schedules, shop drawings, and single-line diagrams submitted by tenant consultants/contractors.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in electrical load calculations for each retail unit.
• Act as the primary technical liaison for tenant inquiries and design clarifications.

Standards & Code Compliance:

• Ensure designs meet Egyptian and international codes (NFPA, IEC), as well as mall-specific technical guidelines.
• Coordinate with mall infrastructure teams to guarantee timely availability of electrical connections, meters, and DBs.
• Participate in audits and readiness reviews to ensure operational and safety compliance before handover.

Collaboration & Support:

• Work closely with mall operations, leasing, and tenant coordination teams to support smooth fit-out processes.
• Assist in the preparation and updating of technical templates, review checklists, and design manuals.
• Attend tenant handover meetings, progress reviews, and inspection walkthroughs.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to site engineers managing implementation verification.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical design and fit-out coordination within retail/mall projects.
• Solid knowledge of tenant requirements, including signage, display lighting, and kitchen loads.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Revit and Dialux is a plus.
• Strong familiarity with Egyptian electrical codes and international standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenant submissions in parallel and deliver under tight timelines.
• High level of technical judgment, decision-making, and attention to detail.
