About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer with experience in quality assurance, product design, and production development to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, hands-on experience in appliance or manufacturing industries, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project and production requirements.
- Support R&D and product localization projects, including BOM preparation, technical data sheets, and cost analysis.
- Conduct and supervise quality inspections and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Perform root cause analysis for defects and support continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, technical office, suppliers) to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare reports, test results, and quality documentation in line with company and industry standards (ISO, OSHA, etc.).
- Contribute to prototyping, testing, and validation of new products.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mechanical Power preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in R&D, Production Development, or Quality Engineering within manufacturing (appliances, HVAC, automotive, packaging, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, production processes, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Power BI).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and NDT Level II is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple priorities.
