Role:


We are looking for a proactive and creative Community & Social Media Manager to join our digital media team. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between our brand and our audience—fostering a thriving digital community, managing our social media presence, and driving authentic engagement across platforms. You’ll help shape our voice, nurture relationships, and ensure our online interactions reflect our values and vision.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Media, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of proven experience in social media management or community engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required; Arabic is a must).
  • Proficient with social media tools and scheduling platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, Later).
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices and engagement tactics.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Emotionally intelligent and comfortable managing online conversations and potential crises.
  • Expert knowledge of all leading social media sites, including their algorithms.


Key Responsibilities:


Community Management:

  • Engage daily with followers across social media platforms (comments, messages, mentions).
  • Build and nurture relationships with followers, partners, and advocates.
  • Monitor online sentiment and audience conversations; report key insights regularly.
  • Proactively manage feedback, inquiries, and community issues in a timely and respectful manner.


Social Media Management:

  • Schedule, post, and manage content across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • WordPress experience is a plus.
  • Work closely with account managers, content creators and designers to align posts with the brand voice and campaign goals.
  • Track analytics and optimize content based on performance metrics.
  • Create and manage interactive content such as polls, Q&As, challenges, and live sessions.


Strategy & Trends:

  • Stay up-to-date with digital trends, platform updates, and audience behaviors.
  • Identify opportunities to tap into trending topics or online movements in a brand-aligned way.
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to brainstorm new ways to grow audience reach and engagement. Reporting & Analysis:
  • Analyze data to assess community health and social media effectiveness.
  • Suggest improvements based on insights and audience feedback.


People :

  • Assist in fostering a high performance led culture; play a central role in recruiting new talent and retention of existing talent in the team/business
  • Act as a strong leader with the ability to listen effectively and influence a team
  • Actively contribute to the leadership in terms of agency/sector vision and be seen as a leader – displaying gravitas, managing difficult client relationships, and demonstrating an understanding of business finance
  • Apply emotional intelligence in your role as Line Manager; develop SMART performance career plans for direct report/s, successfully manage employee issues and difficult employee communications, and mentor/coach team members to develop their potential
  • Create and drive initiatives to strengthen skills, promote loyalty, enthusiasm and culture of a practice or the office through training and/or other responsibilities.
